gallery :: plastic cameras
Plastic cameras (also called toy cameras) like the Holga and Diana are cheap, plastic cameras that take images that are seriously "flawed," at least in narrow, technical terms. They are sharp at center, but go soft toward the edges; they underexpose toward the edges; and because of cheap construction, suffer the occasional light-leak. But now and then, when the elements come together, the images they take can be seriously beautiful.
