The United Press International have selected one of my photographs as one of their 150 news photos of the year.  Nice bit of recognition for an engaging project!

The brand new Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital-- a classic Victorian landmark of Capitol Hill -- is inaugurating a series of new gallery spaces.  A series of my best photographs of Washington DC are currently on display in the Matthew Brady gallery.  Please stop by during the center's hours or at the opening.  Hours for the second floor gallery vary, so please give them a call before making a trip:  Information here.

NEWS: Ford's Theatre calendar features Colin's photographs

Last year Ford's Theatre commissioned Colin to photograph the historic Ford's Theatre inside and out.  The results are in print in the form of a lovely new calendar for 2012.  Available at the Theatre's gift shop (where other gift items with Colin's photos were seen).  We will have a few copies for sale at the Fall open studio as well.  Preview images in the calendar here.  There is an interview about the work here.

National Archives Building's 75th Anniversary guide book
Compiled by the Foundation for the National Archives, this new book features about one-dozen photographs Colin took during the restoration of the gorgeous Archives Pediments; you can see some of this work here.  Hot off the presses, the book is available online at the Archives online store, in their gift shop, and soon at architecture-related stores in the DC area.
